Public Speaking and Debating
Kindergarten to Year 4
In preparation for our Public Speaking and Debating Program, Kindergarten to Year 4 children present topic talks.
Year 5
Public Speaking is formalised. All students present speeches throughout the year. Semi-finals and finals are contested during Term 4. An independent guest teacher adjudicates the finals.
Year 6
Teams debate in a round robin format throughout the year with semis and finals being contested during Term 4. An independent guest teacher adjudicates the finals.
