Extension Classes
Our vision is to ensure that Gifted and Talented students are identified and that they achieve their full potential.
Class programs provide extension work and students from K-6 are exposed to and taught Critical and Creative Thinking Skills and Mathematical Problem Solving Skills.
All students are encouraged to enter the UNSW International Competitions across the Key Learning Areas.
Selected students attend workshops organised by the Sydney Northern Region GATS network.
Our Band, Choir, Dance, Computer and Sport programs provide opportunities for our gifted and talented students in these areas to excel.
In 2008 selected students from Year 4 are developing a short film for a Digital Film competition. The theme of this film is a 'Potato'.
State Winners
For the last two years talented students have entered the state Web Design Competition. The students were runner up in 2006 and won the prestigious competition in 2007.
